Good questions. Simple answers.

What changes when converting SVG to WEBP?

WebP uses adjustable lossy color compression and retains transparency. Still images only: animation uses one frame; TIFF uses the first page. GIF has 256 colors and binary transparency; BMP uses a solid background. ICO fits into a square up to 256 px. SVG output embeds a PNG, not traced vectors. Each PDF contains one image. HEIC/HEIF is input only.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Image processing runs entirely on your device. There are no image upload endpoints, accounts, or cloud processing.

Is there a usage limit?

There are no daily quotas or paid tiers. Available device memory limits image dimensions and batch size. Files are processed one at a time.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once the offline-ready indicator appears. The first visit downloads the tools and codecs. Your browser may clear offline storage when space is low.

What happens to animation and metadata?

These tools export still images. Animated inputs become a single frame. Camera metadata such as EXIF and GPS is not copied; color profiles may change.
