Image to Minecraft blocks: a buildable pixel-art plan

This Minecraft image converter downsizes your picture to a block grid and matches each cell to an approximate concrete or wool color. Use fewer blocks for small logos, or a larger grid and dithering for photos. The preview, coordinates and material counts describe the same flat build. Download the blueprint and follow it row by row in your world. This is an independent tool, not an official Minecraft product.

How it works

01

Choose your images

Choose a PNG, JPG or WebP image from your device. Nothing is uploaded.

02

Adjust your settings

Set the longest side, choose concrete or wool, and optionally enable dithering. Convert to see your block plan.

03

Save to your device

Save the pixel-art PNG, coordinate CSV and materials list. Use the grid to build the picture block by block.

Good questions. Simple answers.

How does the Minecraft image converter match colors?

Each resized pixel is matched to the nearest representative color in the selected palette. Dithering spreads color error between nearby pixels to suggest more shades; it can add visual noise to small logos.

Can I import the result as map art or a schematic?

No. This tool makes flat pixel-art building plans, PNG previews and CSV references. It does not export map.dat, .schem, .litematic, skins or game commands. In-game map colors differ from block appearance.

Is the converter free and usable offline?

Yes. There are no accounts, uploads or daily quotas. Once the site shows that offline tools are ready, conversion also works without a connection. Each grid is limited to 256 blocks per side to keep processing responsive.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Image processing runs entirely on your device. There are no image upload endpoints, accounts, or cloud processing.

Does it work offline?

Yes, once the offline-ready indicator appears. The first visit downloads the tools and codecs. Your browser may clear offline storage when space is low.
